November 11, 2008- 74th Annual Veterans Parade & Ceremony. The parade begins at 11 a.m. at Atlantic and Commercial Street in Historic Downtown Branson. The parade is the finale of a full week's festivities honoring American veterans, sponsored by local veterans organizations and the Branson Veterans Task Force. For details call 417-337-8387.

January - Titanic's 3rd Annual Ice Carving Competition
Come watch the world's most celebrated ice sculptors chisel 250-pound blocks of ice into fantastic designs. This free one-day event is held in Titanic's outdoor entertainment center (at the ship's bow) Saturday, January 17, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. As part of the Titanic Museum Attraction's ongoing series of annual family events, last year's competition drew more than 4,500 visitors. Arrive early for the best views to all the action.
